Novice Introduction
Tandem: You may make a tandem jump on
our parachute made for two. No class is required. Our licensed and rated
tandem pilots will assist you through both a 5000’ freefall and
5000’ parachute ride. Tandem parachuting is the easiest way to experience
both the thrill of freefall and the tranquility of parachuting. Tandem
provides a perfect introduction to our sport.
Solo: Highly motivated and talented individuals
who are physically and mentally capable of learning skydiving may progress
in a program tailored to their individual needs with a high probability
of success. MSC has developed a unique method for training the sport parachutist
combining the regimen of a university type setting with the USPA integrated
student program.
After your first tandem jump you must complete our application
to see if you qualify for our program. Each section of the course is taught
in blocks which are prepaid and must be completed in a certain allotted
time. Our focus is on safety via your being current, quality instruction
and individual attention. Skydiving is a stressful and performance based
sport that will test all your mental and physical reserves. On occasion
students will be required to repeat certain exercises in a section which
is why we are allowing a certain number makeup jumps in each section of
the course. However we reserve the right to terminate your participation
if certain criteria of performance are not being met. Safety is always
our number one goal not just for you but for everyone in the sky! We hope
you will find skydiving to be as fun and rewarding as we do!
Advanced Training: MSC’s perfect
weather, superb facilities and equipment make it the ideal place for advanced
or team training. Both ground-to-air and air-to-air videos are available
at excellent rates. Excepting weekends, MSC has no minimum loads for jumpcraft,
so you are not only guaranteed weather, but opportunity as well. There
are no minimum load requirements for students.
Our parachute loft offers an excellent training program
for the FAA senior rigger and FAA master rigger certificates, including
an FAA rigger examiner.
